Summer Exhibition and Sale
Our Summer Exhibition and sale which takes place annually during the months of July and August is now
over and has been a great success.
This is our main fund-raising event each year and the exhibition provides to the visitor, an excellent snapshot
of the Town of Inveraray past and present.
We have raised over £5000 and would like to express a big thanks to all organisers, contributors and
customers
New Community Newsletter
The publications committee have produced their first newsletter. From its initial concept as a Church newsletter it has now opened
out to become a Community newsletter.
News, views and features in a ‘Nutshell’, the name given to the newsletter taken from a previous newsletter produced in the late 60s,
aims to provide short snippets of news from as many groups and organisations with the community as possible.
If you have an item which you would like included, please contact the editor.
Sponsored Walk for Sunday Club
On Saturday 26th September, David Cherrie and his son Lewis, Tom Paterson and Yvonne Black went on a sponsored walk for the Sunday Club and made over £1034!
They walked from the Front Green to the Dunaquaich Tower, had a bite to eat and walked back down again. Well done.

We Make Music
Each month we have a musical evening for anyone who plays an instrument or sings or just likes to listen. They are held at alternate venues on a Wednesday
evening in the Manse or Chalmers Court and have been very successful evenings of informal singing and listening to the music with a cup of tea added in.
The numbers keep rising and we may eventually have to move to a larger venue but in the meantime we will squeeze in.

and a busy tea room.
Also included this year we had a Santa’s
Grotto which was a great attraction for all
the children.
A Night with Alastair

We were delighted to
have a visit from Alastair
on Wednesday 2nd
December 2009 when
he entertained an
audience of around 70
people.
